Banana Coconut Bake Recipe


Butter: 2 tbsp (30g)
Vanilla extract: 1/4 tsp
Grated fresh coconut: 2 cups (160g)
Sugar: 1/4 cup (50g)
Ground cardamom: 1/2 tsp
Medium size banana (halved lengthwise): 3 Few saffron threads
Milk: 1/2 cup (120ml)


Step 1: Melt the butter in a saucepan

Step 2: Add dessicated coconut and vanilla to the melted butter

Step 3: Mix it till it is little brown

Step 4: Add sugar and cardamom powder

Step 5: Cool on medium heat till it browns and then remove off the heat

Step 6: Slice the bananas

Step 7: Put few saffron threads in the milk and let it rest

Step 8: Put some browned coconut in a ramekin and level it using spoon

Step 9: Repeat the layering twice

Step 10: Pour milk equally in all the ramekins

Step 11: Bake it in a preheated oven at 200C for 10-12 minutes

Serve while it is still warm
