A quick and delicious snack
60g Brown Sugar
100g Dates (chopped and deseeded)
35g Almonds (chopped)
35g Sunflower Seeds
40g Coconut Powder
50g Chocolate Chips (optional)
Sea Salt (as per taste)
Step 1:In a saucepan/ microwave, melt the butter, honey and brown sugar and whisk till well combined.
Step 2: Remove from heat and stir in the oats, sunflower seeds, sliced almonds and coconut powder into the mixture.
Step 3: Add the deseeded and chopped dates into the mixture and mix well.
Step 4: Add chocolate chips and sea salt.
Step 5: Transfer the mixtures into a 7 inch (square) lined tin and bake at 180C for 18-20 minutes till slightly golden brown
Step 6: Let it cool in the tin and then cut it into bars and store in an airtight container.
These last for a week in an airtight container and make for a snack everyone loves!
