Ingredients:

Condensed Milk: 200g

Milk: 125ml

Butter: 100g

Caster Sugar: 15g

Flour: 125g

Baking Soda: 1/2 tsp

Baking Powder: 1 tsp

Cardamom Powder: 2 tsp

Pistachio: 10g

For Syrup:

Lemon Juice: 25ml

Sugar: 75g

Water: 75 ml

 

Method:

Step 1: Whisk sugar (15gm) and butter in a bowl

Step 2: Add the milk and the condensed milk to the mix and whisk

Step 3: Add flour, baking powder, cardamom and baking soda to the mix

Step 4: Add the pistachio to the mix

Step 5: Pour the mix into a loaf tin

Step 6: Bake it at 180C for 20 minutes

Step 7: Remove the loaf and let it cool

Step 8: Poke the loaf with a knife to prepare it for adding the sugar lemon syrup on top

Step 9: For the sugar syrup, heat water, caster sugar and juice of 2 lemons on a stove

Step 10: Add the sugar lemon syrup on the Cake. Add some more chopped pistachio as garnishing along with adding the remaining syrup on the loaf
