I hope you all are well and safe at home. These last few weeks feel surreal and sometimes I really have to pinch myself to make sure this is real life and not a simulation. We’ve been closed for 12 days now. I can’t even begin to describe what that feels like. For the first 6 days, I disconnected from the internet. I slept, I cried, I ate, I read and then I reached a state of acceptance. I’m taking each day as it comes and I’m trying to see everything with a lens of gratitude. I understand that having a home, family and food is a deep privilege in these times and for now, that’s all that matters. This is also a time where you shouldn’t feel the pressure to do anything. It’s okay to just pause and survive for a bit. If you do feel like reading something, my brother Vaarun has picked this month’s read – he says it’s magical and honestly I do need to believe in something greater than what’s happening out there.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
I read this book in 2012 and instantly fell in love with it. I always end up giving this book as a gift or recommendation when asked for one. The author managed to transport me into the magical world that she had created. And given the times we are living in right now I feel it’s the perfect book to get lost in.
Hope you guys enjoy the book!
