FAQ

1) What are macarons?

Macaron is a light, often brightly colored sandwich cookie consisting of two rounded disks made from a batter of egg whites, sugar, and almond flour surrounding a ganache filling.It is mildly moist and easily melts in the mouth. Macarons are made with extreme care in our Central Kitchen in a controlled environment maintaining temperature and humidity.

2) What is the size of a macaron?

Macarons at Le15 are approximately 4.5 cm in diameter and weigh roughly 28 grams.

3) Can macarons be made eggless?

Eggless macarons are very fragile to handle and hence cannot be shipped.

4) How long do macarons last?

Macarons last for a duration of 5-7 days if stored correctly in a temperature range of 4-8 degree celsius.

5) How do I store the macarons?

Macarons need to be refrigerated in a temperature range of 4-8 degree celsius.

6) Are macarons Gluten Free?

Yes, macarons are Gluten Free.

To place an order select between the options provided on the store page.

Step 1: Select between “Make your own macaron box” (box of 12 or 24) or select one of our preset boxes

Step 2: Please confirm if we deliver to your area by entering your pin code in “Check Availability At” Box provided. Please proceed to Step 3 if it says we do. Incase it says that we do not deliver to your city, give us sometime, we are trying our best to make shipping possible to you!

Step 3: If you have selected “Pick your Box”, select the macaron flavors you want.

If you have selected one of the preset boxes, please select the quantity (box of 12 or 24)

Step 4: Pick the quantity of boxes you want.

Step 5: Select the date you want your box of macarons delivered by (at least 48 hours prior to expected delivery date)

Step 6: Once you’re done putting in your boxes of macarons, click on the “Add to Cart” button.  

Step 7: This will direct you to the Cart where you will have the option of “checking out” or “continue shopping” in case you need to add more items.

Step 8: If you selected “Continue Shopping”, please repeat steps 1-7.

If you selected “proceed to checkout”, please enter your shipping and billing details and click “Place Order”  

2) What happens once I’ve paid for my order?

Once you’ve placed your order through the website, you will receive an Order Received mail.

3) What is Make Your Box?

Make Your Box gives you the option to hand pick the macarons you want from our vast macaron menu. You can choose to make your macaron box of 12 or 24 pieces.

4) What are the preset boxes?

Apart from Pick your own Box, we have made a few preset boxes based on customer choices and some of our favorite macarons.

  • The Best Seller Box consists of the our customers most favorite macarons. It comprises of Sea Salt, Nutella Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate,Hazelnut, Pistachio and Coffee Macarons.
  • The Chocolate Lover’s Box is every chocolate lovers dream come true. It consists of all the chocolate flavored macarons- Dark Chocolate, Sea Salt and Nutella Sea Salt Macarons.
  • The Rainbow Box is our vibrant looking, instagram worthy box comprising of Passion Fruit, Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut, Vanilla Raspberry and Nutella Sea Salt Macarons.
  • The Pretty in Pink Box is as pretty and as pink as it sounds made specially cause of our love and obsession for pink. It comprises of Rose, Lavender and Dark Chocolate Macarons.
  • The Lover’s Box is designed to instill the feeling of love while sharing the pretty macarons with hearts on them with your loved ones. It also the perfect gifting option for you significant other. It comprises French Vanilla, Dark Chocolate and Passion Fruit Macarons.
  • The Off Beat Box is made by our most unique, adapted off beat macarons. It comprises of Paan, Passion Fruit , Lavender, Vanilla Raspberry, Pistachio and Rose Macarons.

5) How do I decide what I should order?

You can make your own box with the flavors you would like to have. We know that everything looks tempting and you want to try a little bit of everything, so you can go with the Pre Set boxes based on your mood or taste!

6) How much notice do I need to give to place an order?

Your order needs to be placed at least 48 hours prior to the date you want to receive it. For example, If you place your order on 19th June, you will receive your box of macarons on 21st June.

7) What happens after I place my order?

Once you place your order, we will confirm your order by call / email. Once the order is confirmed, we will notify you when you box/boxes are dispatched and then inform you on delivery.

8) Can I order less than a box of 12?

We are currently accepting orders for box of 12 and 24. Individual macarons cannot be sold online.

9) What happens if I want to amend my order?

Yes, your order can be amended if you call our Customer Service and inform the change 24 hours prior to delivery date by sending us an email on onlineorders@le15.com  or calling us at 9821594464, i.e. if you placed an order with the delivery date of 20th June, you must ensure the amendment mail is sent prior to 9am on 19th June for us to process said amendment.

10) I haven’t received an email after placing my order. What can I do?

Please give us some time to process your order. In case you don’t receive a mail on placing your order, please call our Customer Service to confirm if we have received your order or send us an email on onlineorders@le15.com or call us at 9821594464.

11) Once I have placed the order, can I cancel it?

Your order can be cancelled if you inform us 24 hours prior to delivery. If your order has not been shipped/dispatched, we will provide a Store Credit for the amount deducted. If your order has already been dispatched, we are sorry but we won’t be able to do anything about it.

12) Do I get a refund if I cancel the order?

We have a no refund policy. If you cancel the order 24 hours prior to the delivery date, then we can provide a Store Credit for the transacted amount.

You can pay on the website using the following methods:

      1. Debit Card- Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club,
      2. Credit Card- Mastercard, Visa, American Express
      3. Wallets- PayTM, Mobikwik, JioMoney, Oxigen
      4. Cash on Delivery

2) Do you accept COD?

Yes, we do accept Cash on Delivery.

3) Can I pay half the amount now and half on receipt on the macarons?

No, you are required to pay the whole amount in order to receive your macarons.

4) What if I live abroad?

We don’t deliver out of India yet, but if you want to gift someone in India a box of macarons with a message card, we accept payments from international cards!

1) How are you going to deliver the box/ boxes of macarons?

Our macarons are packed in sealed blister packs which is further packed in an insulated envelope with ice pack for the shipment. Logistics will be handled by Bombax Courier Services who will be delivering the box from Mumbai to your city by air. The shipping charge is INR. 300 for a box of 12 macarons and INR. 450 for a box of 24 macarons.

2) What are the shipping charges?

A lot of care and efficiency goes into making sure you receive your macarons perfectly. Our macarons are packed in sealed blister packs which is further packed in an insulated envelope with ice pack for the shipment. Logistics will be handled by Bombax Courier Services who will be delivering the box from Mumbai to your city by air. The shipping charge is INR. 300 for a box of 12 and INR. 450 for a box of 24 macarons for orders out of Mumbai, INR. 200 or INR. 350 depending on the area in Mumbai.

3) I want delivery on a particular date. When do I order?

Your order needs to be placed at least 48 hours prior to the date you want to receive it. For example, If you place your order on 19th June, you will receive your box of macarons on 21st June.

4) I placed an order for macarons for a particular day, and I am now busy on that day. Can I change the date of delivery?

Yes, we can arrange to change the delivery date if you inform us 24 hours prior to your original date of delivery at onlineorders@le15.com or call us at 9821594464.

5) Do you deliver to my city?

We currently delivering to Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Baroda and Surat only. We are working on getting your favorite box of macarons to your cities. You can confirm if we deliver to a particular city/ pin code by picking one of the options from Pick you own Box or Preset boxes and enter your pin code in the box that says Check Availability. It will let you know if we deliver to you. You can also send us a mail at onlineorders@le15.com or give us a call at 9821594464.

1) What happens if my box of macarons is damaged?

If your box is damaged, please notify us immediately for investigation by sending an email to onlineorders@le15.com or calling us at 9821594464; if found to be the case, we will credit your purchase in the form of store credit.

We will not be liable to you in respect of any complaint concerning any aspect of the received macarons which is not raised by you within 24 hours of delivery by us. Any extra information requested by our Customer Care team, that is required to substantiate a complaint, must be sent within 72 hours from the reporting of the issue.

2) What if some of the macarons in the box are crushed/ chipped?

If the macarons are crushed or damaged, please notify us immediately for investigation by sending an email to onlineorders@le15.com or calling us at 9821594464; if found to be the case, we will credit your purchase in the form of store credit.

We will not be liable to you in respect of any complaint concerning any aspect of the received macarons which is not raised by you within 24 hours of delivery by us. 3) What if the macarons don’t taste right?

Our macaron recipe has been developed such that it is fit to ship and has a shelf life of 5-6 days from shipping when stored in the appropriate guided conditions. Our macaron recipe has been tested under a variety of temperature, humidity & pressure conditions for over 6 months.

Taste is a very subjective matter and we cannot provide a refund simply because you do not like the taste of a particular macaron.

1) Do I get a refund if I cancel the order?

If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, you must notify us by 9 AM the day before the order is due to be delivered (24 hours before delivery date). i.e. if you placed an order with the delivery date of 20th June, you must ensure the cancellation mail is sent prior to 9 AM on 19th June for us to process said cancellation. We will provide you with a store credit after processing the cancellation.

2) I didn’t like the taste of the macarons. Can I return them to you?

All our macarons are developed by rigorous research and development and continuously tested for the perfect flavor to appeal our customers. Since taste is usually a subjective, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds merely because you do not like the taste of a particular macaron.

3) My delivery is damaged, incomplete, or is not what I ordered. What should I do?

If upon delivery the macarons are damaged (crushed, chipped or broken), different from the one you have ordered (different flavor), or incomplete (if something is missed out) when you receive it, please notify us immediately for investigation by sending an email at onlineorders@le15.com or calling us on 9821594464; if found to be the case, we will credit your purchase in the form of store credit.

1) How much notice do I need to give to place a bulk/ corporate order?

Your order needs to be placed at least 48 hours in advanced if you want a bulk order, though we recommend placing the order 72 hours in advance. You can also contact us by sending an email to onlineorders@le15.com  or calling us at 9821594464.

2) Can you customize macarons?

For bulk corporate/gifting/festival orders, we can customize the shell colors and flavors according to your needs.You need to order a minimum of 100 boxes of 12 macarons for customization.

Since all colors cannot be used on macaron shells, we provide a color palette and you can pick the colors based on the same.You can also pick a design for the shells if you want.

3) Can you customize packaging for boxes?

Yes the packaging for your macaron boxes can be customized according to your needs. You need to inform us at least 3 weeks prior to the date you need them delivered. You need to order a minimum of 100 boxes of 12 macarons for customized packaging. You can contact us by sending an email to onlineorders@le15.com or calling us at 9821594464.

4) How many boxes do I need to order for macaron customization/ customized packaging?

You need to order a minimum of 100 boxes of 12 macarons to be able to have macaron color or design customization or customized packaging for macarons.

5) What if I want to gift a box to someone and need a message card?

We can add a message for you incase you’re gifting box/boxes to somebody. You need to give us the message in the “Order Notes” section on the checkout page while placing the order. 6) Can I send flowers with a box of macarons?

We do not have provisions for sending flowers/ gifts along with the macarons right now. What we can do instead is have your macarons delivered to your local florist and they can club the macarons and make the delivery for you.

7) Do you have any merchandise available to send along with a box of macarons?

Currently we do not have any merchandise available to send along with the box of macarons.
